But, consistent with Colorado weather, about an hour after the event was officially canceled, the sun broke through and roads dried off. So, after fueling up with ham, eggs, hash browns, green chili, and griddle cakes... I got out for a 70 mile solo ride along the base of fourteeners between Salida and Buena Vista...
Totally worth the trip.

That's too bad the Bike Fest was cancelled. Best laid plans, and all of that...
I had no idea you were training for this. I also had no idea you were smokin crack! Insane...but completely awesome!
Smokin crack is completely awesome? Bummer the main event was cancelled but it looks like you made the most of it. Thanks for keeping any spandex out of the pictures.
